San Antonio Botanical Garden Master Plan

JLP+D was part of a multidisciplinary team led by Reed Hilderbrand developing a strategic Master Plan for the San Antonio Botanical Garden. JLP+D served as the Economic and Development Strategist on the team, analyzing revenue, partnership, and land acquisition strategies for the Master Plan.

JLP+D’s analysis focused on enhancing fiscal sustainability and revenue opportunities at the Gardens. Following goal alignment, JLP+D conducted a detailed financial analysis, market analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify revenue gaps and opportunities. Subsequent phases will focus on refining program recommendations and developing actionable strategies for program improvement and revenue generation, with a focus on building partnerships. By enhancing and recentering its community role, the Master Plan will help the Gardens achieve financial sustainability and allow for continued service to the community in perpetuity.
