JLP+D supported the Piedmont Park Conservancy by developing the economic and policy case for investment into Piedmont Park—one of Atlanta’s most visited public spaces that anchors Midtown and the surrounding residential neighborhoods—to support advocacy with public and private funders.
JLP+D analyzed the park's current economic impact and modeled additional economic benefit potential that could be fostered by Phase I of the Piedmont Park Comprehensive Plan, including additional park space, and new paths, gathering spaces, and programming. JLP+D’s findings highlighted Piedmont Park’s role as an essential civic infrastructure and a critical driver of Atlanta’s shared prosperity.
